We need to make sure the folks of age now and our future seniors have access to Social Security. This is not an issue that should be used as a political football. I would not want to privatize it because, if it does not work out, the government will have to be there to pick up the pieces at a much higher price. People pay into social security and it is prudent for Congress to defend it.
